Toss-up
I realise that I like to mix up certain words, and never fail to feel like a retard after doing so.
Like, “receipt” and “cheque”. So when I’m handing out a receipt I would say “here’s your cheque” );
Another is the chinese term for rice. “mi” is uncooked rice. “fan” is cooked rice. So whenever I tell chinese aunties about rice packets in the shop I would call them “fan” they would laugh and say its actually “mi”. );
The worst thing is to repeatedly mix up those words again and again.
And you, shut up and the world would be a better place( thanks Christy!).
And yes, it’s not you that I’m talking about.
Every time when the point of my life reaches it’s peak, it never fails to plateau. Instead, it slides all the way back to square one. It’s like a roller coaster ride that’s never ending.
Make it stop.
At this rate of suppressing my emotions I can get a heart attack real soon.
Holidays please come real soon I need my sleep):
It takes two hands to clap
In a relationship with your friend/ partner/ or a special someone, a two way interaction is important. It is pointless for one way traffic and only one person compromising and only one person carrying the burden and only one person giving and another receiving only.
If we are the poor rock/ fish/ boat going against the current of the river then we are no better than slaves, aren’t we?
This is a pretty good post to reflect on. Cause it’s so easy to fall into the trap of taking somebody for granted, and treasuring those who are close to you.
Hope I/ whoever’s reading will think over about this and start giving back to your friend/ partner much more than you have received, and hopefully the positive cycle ensues.
Friends are angels(:
Past-
While rummaging through the closet for photos for my Sharepoint project, I picked up my report book.
Looking at it now, I realised how horrible my grades were. Although the L1R5 grade improved over the 2 years, it was still pretty horrendous for my ability. Now I’m stuck at a poly where I’m totally under-utilised. Blame on my initial target for going to poly only. A strong goal really puts you in good stead to achieve greater things.
Anyway, I gotta live with whatever I have and continue to work hard. Fighting all the way! (:
It’s all about the peeps
I saw this group on FB about a poly class petitioning not to change classes.
I mean like seriously?
I can laugh straight at your face for a whole day and not stop about that thought.
Unless everyone in the class has the exact same personality it’s literally impossible for any class to click. The diversity of people in one poly class is more diverse than the contents of an Indian Rojak.
Having said that, kudos to that class though, cause their achievement of such harmony in a class is much admired.
I realise that I’m a real bad multitasker. I can’t handle multiple problems/ subjects/ tasks/ friends at the same time. Hope God does His magic and change me for the better. I hope.
I wanna sing my hearts out and go nuts again.
I wanna run and run like life’s chasing after me.
I wanna make posts private, for now. It’s so annoying when others can see you through but you can’t see them. It’s like a one way mirror/ street/ traffic.
Hooray!
I was listening to my songs. My phone is stuffed with albums from artists which I like, and I happened to listen this song. I chuckled to myself in the middle of the bus when I heard the lyrics.
I was lost and down
Before you turned my life around
I never knew a love like this could happen
And they said I was too young
But when I turned 21
You gave me hope that’s everlasting
Now everything is going my way
The sun’s shining all around me
Bells are ringing and the birds are singing now
I wanna tell the whole world
Hooray For Beer!
I’m really glad you’re here
Let’s make this moment last
You feel so right
Wanna be with you all night
Shout it out
Hooray For Beer!
Hooray For Beer – Bowling For Soup
So unexpected right. Their band seems to include beer in their songs quite often, somehow.
Go ahead sprouting your endless nonsense. They are not funny to begin with and to call them annoying is an understatement.
